Demolition itself is not restricted by flight noise — but homes in noise zones often have thicker exterior walls (enhanced sound insulation), which affects work technique. We don't demolish at night (10 PM – 7 AM) at any site, so flight noise and work noise don't mix.
Koivukylä has many 1970s prefab buildings — is an asbestos survey always needed?
For buildings built before 1988, an asbestos survey is legally required before demolition. For buildings completed after 1988, it's not mandatory but sometimes useful if the structure has been renovated with older materials.
