Service

Kitchen Demolition

We remove kitchen cabinet structures, countertops, backsplash tiling and surface finishes so that the new fitter can start from a clean slate. We disconnect water and electrical feeds safely before work begins and dismantle appliances according to customer instructions.

What the service includes

  1. Removal of upper and lower cabinets and the island
  2. Countertop, backsplash tiles and sealant
  3. Dismantling of appliances and haul-away (on request)
  4. Safe disconnection of water and electrical feeds
  5. Removal of floor covering under the cabinet line
  6. Dust protection, waste removal and final cleaning

What it's suitable for

Suitable for kitchen modernization, floor-plan changes (e.g. removing the wall between kitchen and living room — check load-bearing first!), and appliance renewals when the existing cabinetry no longer fits new dimensions.

Local context

A typical apartment kitchen (5–10 linear meters of cabinetry) is usually finished in one working day. Pricing is included in the per-m² rate — there is no kitchen-specific surcharge; the general rate for the same area applies.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Can I keep the old appliances when the new kitchen is installed?
Yes — we carefully detach them and move them to a designated space (e.g. storage or the nearest area with no demolition work). The customer is responsible for storing the appliances until installation day. If an appliance is broken or the customer wants to get rid of it, we take it to a recycling center.
Who installs the new kitchen — do you also do that?
We don't. We focus on demolition and final cleaning. We hand over the space clean and ready for the new kitchen's installer — IKEA, Puustelli, Keittiömaailma etc. send their own fitters. On request we can recommend trusted private installers in the metropolitan area.
Can the wall between the kitchen and the living room be demolished?
If the wall is NOT load-bearing, yes. Demolition of a load-bearing wall always requires a structural engineer's assessment, a building-control impact review, and in most housing companies board approval. We help verify load-bearing status on the initial visit, and our partner structural engineer drafts a qualified statement if needed.
